High A387 gr 22 chrome moly pressure vessel plate inventory will continue in the short term

Due to the increasing output of steel enterprises, the A387 gr 22 chrome moly pressure vessel plate and so on steel inventory has been under great pressure. In March this year, the highest steel inventory in 29 key cities in China was 23.13 million tons, 6.7 million tons higher than the same period last year, 40% higher, the highest in nearly 10 years. After April, due to the continued strong demand, the A387 gr 22 chrome moly pressure vessel plate and so on steel inventory decreased for 14 consecutive weeks, with a cumulative decrease of 10.11 million tons, or 44%; while the data showed a seasonal growth last week, with the current inventory of 13.33 million tons, 2.83 million tons higher than that of the same period last year, with a rate of 27%.

At present, although the national steel social inventory has been digested, it is still about 30% higher than that of the same period last year. After the rapid recovery of A387 gr 22 chrome moly pressure vessel plate and so on steel production, if there is no more than expected demand burst out, it is difficult to digest the steel social inventory to a relatively low level in previous years.
