What is marine grade CCS AH40 steel properties

CCS AH40 steel is marine grade hull structural steel. With it's good toughness properties, higher strength, strong corrosion-resistance, good processing properties and welding properties, marine grade CCS AH40 steel is used for building cranes project under high strength situation in many shipyards.

Note: Energy 1 is transverse impact test, Energy 2 is longitudinal

For the heat treatment, CCS AH40 steel plate has to be done under TMCP or Normalized for the thickness above 40 millimeter,and for belows 40 millimeters, CCS AH40 steel plate done under AR is Ok if the end user accept when purchase.
