Basic knowledge about CCS FH36 ship plate

CCS FH36 ship plate is extra high strength steel for shipbuilding and platform. CCS FH36 ship plate needs to do low temperature impacting test under minus 60 centigree, and it is usually delivered in normalized or TMCP condition. The thickness of CCS FH36 ship plate is usually within 100mm. And some steel mills can also provide super thick CCS FH36 ship plate which is beyond Classification Society Authenticate.

CCS FH36 ship plate is suggested to do Z-test to improve the strength in thickness direction. The main three classes for Z-Test of CCS FH36 ship plate are Z15, Z25 and Z35. When used to build ships and vessels, the CCS FH36 ship plate can bear the weather corrosion.
