The research shows that adding appropriate amount of Cr to 50W800 Silicon steel can reduce the iron loss of the steel and improve the magnetic induction, thereby improving the magnetic properties of 50W800 Silicon steel.
Therefore, if an appropriate amount of Cr is added to the high-strength 50W800 Silicon steel containing Nb, the improvement of Cr on the magnetic properties of 50W800 Silicon steel is expected to offset the deterioration of the magnetic properties caused by the precipitation strengthening of Nb.

The influence law and mechanism of Cr on the properties of high-strength 50W800 Silicon steel containing Nb were explored, and experimental data and theoretical support were provided for the composition design of high-strength 50W800 Silicon steel produced by BBN.
