Can A131 AH36 shipbuilding steel plate and Q345B steel plate substitute each other
Can A131 AH36 shipbuilding steel plate and Q345B steel plate substitute each other? The key is what you do! A131 AH36 shipbuilding steel plate is steel certified by Classification Society, while Q345B steel plate is low alloy structural steel. Although the mechanical properties of A131 AH36 shipbuilding steel plate and Q345B steel plate are similar, their corrosion resistance and low temperature resistance are different. If A131 AH36 shipbuilding steel plate is used instead of Q345B steel plate, it is no big problem. But Q345B steel plate can not replace A131 AH36 shipbuilding steel plate.
