China's steel exports in November increased for three consecutive months

Due to the rebound of overseas demand driven by the global economic recovery and the competitive advantage of China's steel price in the international market, China's steel export in November was 4.402 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8% and a month on month increase of 9.0%, the third consecutive month on month increase. From January to November, China exported 48.826 million tons of steel, down 18.1% year on year. It is expected that the steel export volume will continue to increase in December, but the annual export volume of this year will be far lower than that of 2019.
 
In October, Brazil's iron ore export volume was 31.19 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.6% and a month on month decrease of 17.6%; Australia's iron ore export volume also declined in late October. Affected by this, China's iron ore import fell to a low of 9.81 billion tons in the second month, and fell to a year-on-year low of 9.81 billion tons. From January to November, China imported 1.073 billion tons of iron ore, a year-on-year increase of 10.9%, higher than the annual import volume of 1.069 billion tons in 2019.
