Since the fourth quarter, China's steel export orders have improved significantly. From December 2020 to the first quarter of 2021, the export volume of various varieties may increase to varying degrees on a month on month basis. At the same time, the export price of various overseas varieties of steel will rise broadly. It is expected that the import volume will weaken and the export volume will continue to warm up.

It is estimated that if the global epidemic situation is effectively controlled in 2021, China's steel export volume will return to 65-70 million tons in 2021, and the steel import volume will be about 10 million tons.
