India extended anti-dumping duties on some imported steel products until the end of the year
The Indian government has extended anti-dumping duties on some of China's, Malaysia's and South Korea's steel imports to December 4, the Times of India reported on June 4, "to protect domestic steel enterprises from foreign cheap steel products."
It is reported that on June 5, 2015, the Ministry of Finance of India imposed anti-dumping duties on 304 series hot rolled flat stainless steel products imported from the above countries for the first time for five years. The tariff range is 180-316 US dollars per ton.
Previously, the investigation department of the Ministry of Commerce of India recommended the government to extend the current anti-dumping duty on related steel products of the above countries for another six months after completing an investigation.
