S420NL steel plate is a low-alloy high-strength steel. When the temperature is not lower than -20℃, the specified impact energy is smaller, which is expressed by N. When the temperature is not lower than -50℃, the smaller value of impact energy is stipulated, which is expressed by NL.

S420NL steel plate mechanical properties:
ReH(MPa): ≥390
Rm(MPa): 520-680
A(%): ≥19

Akv(J): ≥27

S420NL steel plate chemical composition:
C≤0.2; Si≤0.6; Mn: 1-1.7; P≤0.025; S≤0.02; Ni≤0.8; Cr≤0.3; Mo≤0.1; Cu≤0.55; Nb≤0.05; V≤0.2; Ti≤0.05; Als: ≥0.015; N≤0.025.

S420NL steel plate is heat treated by normalizing or hot rolling.
