Pipeline steel X65 mechanical properties

Pipeline steel X65 has two specification levels: API 5L X65 PSL1 and API 5L X65 PSL2. And their mechanical properties are different. API 5L X65 PSL1 mechanical properties: Minimum yield strength is 450 Mpa (65300 psi), minimum tensile strength 535 Mpa (77600 psi).

Pipeline steel X65 mechanical properties - PSL2: yield strength 450–600 Mpa (65300 psi to 87000 psi), tensile strength 535 to 760 Mpa (77600 psi to 110200 psi). Pipeline steel X65 pipe wall thickness comes from Schedule 10, SCH 20, SCH 30, Schedule 40, SCH STD, SCH 60, sch 80, XS, SCH 100, sch 120, sch 140, Sch 160 and Schedule XXS.

API 5L X65 PSL2 pipeline steel requires CEq≤0.43, and CEpcm≤0.25. CEq carbon equivalent affects the welding performance of X65 PSL2 steel and its strength value. Therefore, steel X65 mechanical properties - API 5L X65 PSL2 mechanical strength has maximum limits.
