Tangshan achieves precise pollution control of iron and steel enterprises

In order to continuously improve the city's air quality and further reduce the amount of flue gas and pollutant emissions from steel enterprises, the Office of the Leading Group for Air Pollution Prevention and Control of Tangshan City recently organized the compilation of the "One Plant One Book" for 11 steel enterprises within 25 kilometers of the downtown area. That is, the "Precise Management and Control Implementation Plan" and the "Precise Management and Control Law Enforcement Manual" to achieve precise management and control of steel enterprises.

After the "one plant, one book" precise control plan is implemented, 11 steel enterprises are expected to reduce the output of molten iron by about 32.8%; the exhaust emissions at major points are expected to be reduced by about 24.8%, the particulate matter is expected to be reduced by about 25.2%, and the sulfur dioxide is expected to be reduced by about 35.3%, nitrogen oxides can be reduced by about 35.5%.
