According to the data of American Iron and Steel Association, in March 2021, the steel delivery volume of American steel mills was 7950431 net tons, an increase of 18% compared with February 2021, and an increase of 1.9% compared with 7802192 net tons in the same period of 2020. In the first three months of 2021, US steel shipments amounted to 22106314 net tons, down 8.3% from the same period in 2020.

Compared with February, the shipment volume in March increased by 18% for rolled sheet, 17% for cold-rolled sheet and 16% for hot-dip galvanized sheet.
