Seven U.S. steel industry organizations jointly sent a letter to U.S. President Biden this week, asking the government to maintain the steel tariff policy implemented in 2018 and protect U.S. national security.

Seven organizations, including the American Steel Association, the Federation of steelworkers, the association of steel manufacturers, and the steel pipe import Commission, wrote to US President Biden, saying: "the abolition of steel tariff policy will gradually weaken the viability of the US steel industry.
