What are the problems in the welding of Q345R steel and 20 steel
(1) Q345R steel + 20 steel is not easy to produce cold cracks, hot cracks and reheat cracks during welding. Selecting appropriate welding methods and welding materials, as well as reasonable process parameters during welding can ensure the quality of the weld.
(2) When welding Q345R steel and 20 steel, TIG welding is used for bottoming, MAG welding is used for filling and covering, TGS-50 and ER50-6 welding wires are used, and appropriate welding processes and measures are adopted. Welding process evaluation is carried out on the weldment. After penetration and radiographic inspection, the quality of the weld meets the quality requirements of NB/T47013.5 and NB/T47013.2 Class I, and the mechanical properties of the welded joint meet the requirements of relevant standards.
(3) The welding of the boiler head and the eccentric electrode tube seat adopts an appropriate welding process. After penetration testing, no surface defects such as pores, slag inclusions, and cracks were found. The Q345R steel meets the NB/T 47013.5-2015 Class I quality requirements. At the same time, it meets the quality requirements of NB/T 47013.3-2015 Class I.
