What is 28MnB steel

28MnB steel is welded structural steel. It is a low-carbon alloy steel (C<0.2%) with good overall performance, good low temperature performance, cold stamping performance, welding performance and machinability.

28MnB steel delivery status: hot rolling, controlled rolling, normalizing, normalizing plus tempering and quenching delivery status.

28MnB steel chemical composition:

Mechanical properties and yield strength of 28MnB steel:
Yield strength: ≤16mm: greater than 345, 16-40mm: greater than 335, 40-63mm: greater than 325, 63-80mm: greater than 315, 80-100m: greater than 305, 100-150mm: greater than 285, 150-200mm: greater than 275.
Tensile strength: 450-630.
Elongation: greater than 17.
Impact test: Test temperature: 20: greater than 34.

28MnB steel is widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, buildings, pressure vessels, etc.
