What is the difference between A514 Gr.B and SA517 Gr.B steel plate

A514 Gr.B high yield strength alloy steel plate is quenched and tempered in delivery state, mainly used in places requiring high tensile strength and high yield, such as engineering automobile lifting gears, large excavators, offshore platforms, etc. A514 Gr.B steel plate implements the standard ASTM A514/A514M-2014.

The delivery state of SA517 Gr.B steel plate is quenched + tempered (QT), SA517 Gr.B steel plate is killed steel, and should meet the requirements of ASTM A20/A20M standard fine austenite grain size.
