What material is 40MnB alloy steel

40MnB alloy steel is a new type of steel that has successfully replaced 40Cr steel. It has high strength, hardness, wear resistance and good toughness. Its hardenability is slightly higher than that of 40Cr, and its critical hardening diameter in oil is up to 18-33mm; After normalizing, the machinability is good, and the technological properties of cold drawing, rolling, tapping, forging and heat treatment are also good. The grain growth, oxidation, decarburization tendency and quenching deformation tendency are all small at high temperature.
