ar 500 steel plate prices,ar 500 steel plate supplier
AR500F steel plate is a premium abrasion resistant steel plate, heat treated to exhibit through-hardening, improved forming and welding capabilities. With a typical BHN of 460 – 544, the protection AR500F provides in wear applications is exceptional. Used in the manufacture of mining equipment, the truck-trailer industry and the concrete / aggregate industry, AR500F steel possesses excellent resistance to slide wear, rub wear and heavy wear. It can also withstand high impact stresses, even at extremely low temperatures.
AR-500 alloy steel will reduce material handling costs to a minimum for earth moving, mining and other similar industries in which a combination of toughness and abrasion resistance is required. Because of its exceptional durability in slide wear, rub wear and heavy wear it is used in mining equipment, truck trailer industry, concrete and aggregate industries.

APPLICATIONS of AR500 steel plate
AR500 and AR400, AR450 plate are used in applications where abrasive materials such as grains, coal, ore, cement, gravel, light aggregate, and earth are being handled. It is a common material for conveyors, chutes, linings, hoppers and handling equipment in the materials handling and mining industries. These steels should not be used for structural or main load-bearing members because of the possibility that brittle fracture may occur in these high hardness steels at the high stress levels encountered in such applications.
