Delivery state of 20Mn steel plate: 20Mn steel plate is usually delivered in the state of no heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing or high temperature tempering). If the 20Mn steel plate is required to be delivered under heat treatment, it should be indicated in the contract, and if it is not specified, the 20Mn steel plate shall be delivered without heat treatment.

Chemical composition of 20Mn steel plate:
C: 0.17-0.23, Mn: 0.70-1.0, Si: 0.17-0.37, P≤0.035, Cr≤0.25, Ni≤0.25, Cu≤0.25, S≤0.035.

Mechanical properties of 20Mn steel plate:
Tensile strength ≥450 (46) MPa, yield strength ≥275 (28) MPa, elongation ≥24, reduction of area ≥50.
