A572 Grade 65 is a high‑strength low‑alloy (HSLA) structural steel plate with a minimum yield strength of 65 ksi (≈450 MPa). It uses controlled carbon and micro‑alloying elements such as niobium and vanadium to achieve high strength while maintaining weldability and toughness. This grade is widely used in long‑span bridges, high‑rise buildings, heavy equipment frames, and structural components requiring high load‑bearing capacity.
